
Site PI: Lori Frasier, MD

Lori Frasier is a board certified Child Abuse Pediatrician. She is a professor of Pediatrics at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and Penn State Hershey College of Medicine. She graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Washington and Children’s Hospital in Seattle where she also completed a Child Abuse Fellowship. She has been on the medical staff at the Children’s Hospital in Seattle, University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and directed Child Abuse Programs at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City and Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital. She has published many papers and chapters on Child Abuse topics and has lectured nationally and internationally. She is firmly dedicated to mission of a multicenter data base such as CAPNET to further knowledge and improve practice in child abuse medicine. She can be reached at lfrasier@pennstatehealth.psu.edu.
Site Coordinator: Ashley Bucher, MPH

Ashley Bucher is a research project manager for the Center for the Protection of Children at Penn State College of Medicine. She works closely with the Center’s Principal Investigators in developing and conducting new and ongoing research projects. She has held several research positions outside of child abuse pediatrics, including in the fields of cardiology and end-of-life care.
